(4/07/04 - SUGAR LAND, TX) — Three suspects are accused of selling drugs while working in a Sugar Land restaurant.
A two-month investigation found the suspects were selling cocaine while working at a Boston Market restaurant on Highway 6. Investigators with the Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force arrested the men on Tuesday.
The store manager, identified as 28-year-old Enrique Santiago, an employee identified as 20-year-old Ernst Chad Toepffer IV and an associate identified as 23-year-old Eric Garcia were taken into custody during business hours while selling narcotics to an undercover officer. According to investigators, several buys of cocaine had been made from the suspects on previous occasions.
Three vehicles believed to contain additional contraband and several weapons have been seized. Additionally, property stolen from a Houston Community College Campus was recovered at a residence located in the 12000 block of Wittington in Houston in relation to this incident.
