Rabbits are good pen animals, but a problem if allowed to hop around the house.
Did you know that eating lettuce often kills bunnies?
And wild jack rabbits (not really rabbits at all) are often diseased.

Then she said she will settle for a cat.
And then she got desperate and said even a fish.

Problem is we are all so busy with our jobs and older son about to apply to college. A pet is like a person and cannot be brought home and neglected once one gets bored.

The buggers cannot be scared off or shooed off. I get some rabbits in my backyard and to shoo them I make a noise and run toward them, they just look at me with a "wtf, human?" look. Then I back off sheepishly.

Ah Con Air!

It came out when I was at A&M. We went to some movie in CS and it got over so we hopped into the next room and watched a bit of Con Air.

Just worked with my kids when they raised show rabbits for the county fair. No experience with rabbits as pets. We raised Californians.
