Thanks for the kind words, Pirate. As far as what I went through, it is what it is. Dwelling on s*** won't change anything. That being said, I would be lying if I said I don't have days when I wish I could trade places with my buddies who didn't make it. Other than being med-boarded before I could put in my 20, or more, years is failing to bring all my Soldiers home alive. The ONE Soldier I lost to friendly fire still haunts me. But, I have more good days than bad days.
