I know this was tongue in cheek, but for those of you who are wondering, $50 is a guideline, not a hard rule. If you have a creative and fun gift idea that comes in at $12.02, go for it, but I'll be disappointed if you send your recipient half a pack of Kool cigarettes and some gently used Nicorette gum. On the flip side, if you want to be extravagant, nobody is going to stop you, but we generally like to keep things in relative parity. Unless you're buying Fife his NSX.

We've had a couple of folks sneak into the exchange over the weekend. I think you're all set up with a recipient and should be good to - if not, let me know. We may be able to accommodate laggards for another couple of days, but that's probably it.

Update your wish lists, stalk (in a friendly, positive way) your recipients, and start planning your gifts. Remember, we want stuff to get to our recipients on or about the 16th of December. If you think you're going to miss that timeframe, let me know privately.
