This reminds me, I have a male friend who is a really great photographer. He's never advertised or done 'boudoir' photos, per se. But about a year ago an acquaintance asked him to take some sexy shots of her so that she would have good pics to send to men when she exchanged messages with them on various dating apps. Since then, just through word of mouth, he has made a lot of money taking nude/nearly nude photos of single women for tinder, etc. And yes, he says they almost all insist on some degree of photoshopping. Yep, it's definitely a problem. Some women have figured out how to really alter their appearance in pictures. The two pictures below are of the same woman taken on the same day.

After being off the market for like 6 years, coming back was rough. Had a couple dates where they had clearly misrepresented themselves, but then you are stuck trying to be polite. You basically have to become an instagram reality detective zooming in looking for bent tiles or walls, knowing the angle/filter/posturing tricks.
