Chili + soup = bean soup, not chili. Thought I'd clear the air on that in this thread right off the bat.
That's really specific.jokershady said:
2.5 lbs ground chuck (browned in a pan and remove grease once done)
Then add in a big ass pot after putting in browned chuck:
1 diced yellow onion
6 oz of beer
37 oz tomato sauce
4 tbsp chili powder
4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp red wine vinegar
2 tsp hot sauce
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp ground garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground red pepper
Let that simmer for a while and enjoy....
Also....no damn beans!!!!

They sell it at HEB. All you need to add is the ground beef and water, or beans if your soul currently belongs to the devil himself.
It's very good. Make it with an iron skillet full of corn bread and you have a great meal.
My family loves chili over rice. Add some fresh sharp cheddar over top if you like.
My buddies at work and I used it once in a chili cook off, and we actually won the whole contest. Judges said 'this was by far the best classic chili flavor of any entry'.
