Wolf brand chili and ranch style beans, throw it in a pot and heat it up. Make sure you have plenty of toilet paper stockpiled.

Chili + soup = bean soup, not chili. Thought I'd clear the air on that in this thread right off the bat.

Wick Fowler's Two Alarm Chili

They sell it at HEB. All you need to add is the ground beef and water, or beans if your soul currently belongs to the devil himself.

It's very good. Make it with an iron skillet full of corn bread and you have a great meal.

My family loves chili over rice. Add some fresh sharp cheddar over top if you like.

My buddies at work and I used it once in a chili cook off, and we actually won the whole contest. Judges said 'this was by far the best classic chili flavor of any entry'.

Brown 4 lbs ground beef, add 2 pkgs chilli seasoning, transfer to slow cooker and add 2-3 large jars of medium salsa (72 oz). Heat on low for about 4 hours.
It's DELICIOUS.
Angry face mistake.

This is the most labor intensive chili that I've ever made, but it is so worth the effort. Everyone raves about it. I recently thawed out a batch that's I'd frozen and it was still great.

Edit to add: I don't put beans in it. I'm not a savage.

Bean or no bean I've been making this one for the last year. It's a great all-purpose chili. Besides just a bowl it makes great cheese fries, potachos, chili dogs and frito pie. Going to try some of the others mentioned above.

Yes it is. The Wick Fowler's 2 Alarm Chili is the recipe he used to win the 1st annual Terlingua Chili Cook Off.

BTW, they still have the cook off but the crowd is very different than what it used to be.
