As the parent of two middle schoolers I can tell you most of them are idiots when in groups together (when they are alone they are hormonal emotional bombs that go off daily) so it doesn't shock me they'd think that's funny.

At my kids school today they announced switching to virtual school for 3.5 weeks and to celebrate a 7th grader got the whole grade chanting:

People who think that this generation homes and investments will somehow magically get allocated to the younger generations is also extremely funny. Unless you happen to be their child, in which case you'd rather keep their lives than their money and homes, you ain't getting nothing.

You aren't getting their jobs either as the recession ramps up and we're all jobless.

People are filled with extreme ignorance. It's not funny to people who are of that age group or who have people they love in that age group. I've never heard of a society literally cheering on the demise of their elderly. Disgusting.
