I know a lot of you probably don't care much about wedding videos, but this guy is just on another level than anyone one I've ever seen. Yes, I watch wedding videos because I do wedding videos myself. But nothing like this guy.

That's really beautiful. I have a friend who films these epic New England weddings and even though I personally think it's a huge waste of money, I find myself watching every clip she posts because they're always gorgeous.

Just a personal preference. Why spend $20k on a video when you could put it towards travel and make more memories together? Or property and investments that your children could actually inherit. No shade to people who want the video. I get it, it's really beautiful. Just not my thing.

I've never priced other videographers, I just know that's in the ballpark of what my friend charges.

Seems like these aren't really capturing the wedding as much as directing the participants to make sure that good video is captured. I guess that's what you're paying for. For $20k I'd hope it was Spielberg behind the camera.
