I am not 100% sure on this comment. I studied a lot of asses in the late 80's and early 90's. I saw a lot of tremendous asses in Rockies and and some that looked like they had been cut in half. If you are of the same general age, you will remember that Wranglers were still in the mix back then. They were mediocre on the ass, but a true judge of the camel toe.

Also, remember that thongs were not really a deal during this time. So panty lines were also a big deal to the 13-18 year old male brain. Good times.

Seconded. Rockies only put a nice ass on proper display, like buying the museum glass at the frame shop. They couldn't make a backside quality on their own. I'd go so far as to saying the proper effect was rarely achieved, but when it was achieved, Good Lord.

The fronts of them were silly looking, though--Wranglers were way more entertaining. Like spray paint if the fit was right.
