Whats the new mattress recommendation? It was Casper for a while, then it was something else. What is the best out there? And, what is the best value out there?

We've had our Leesa Sapira for a year and have loved it.
Returned our Leesa. Love our Loom and Leaf got to replace it.
for value...look into Wayfair's brand.
Please tell me there's a special place in Heaven for Aggie fans! It's like we are living some sort of penance on Earth.

I must be in the minority, I hated my Sleep Number bed. I recently bought a king sized Tempurpedic Adapt and absolutely love it. Although, if I still lived down in Florida I would have sprung for the their LuxeBreeze to stay cool but don't need that cooling as much here in Missouri. Tempur Pedic is expensive but it is hands down the best mattress I've ever had.AgShaun00 said:

Memory foam mattresses are like dead blow hammers.
I like my sleep number but want an adjustable bed now on account of reflux and sleep apnea. Not sure if I should stick w sleep number try something different.
Don't get the Leesa hate, I love mine. Prefer it to my previous TempurPedic.
Hate my Casper. We both want to toss it and it's barely been 3 years. Going to have to bite the bullet and do tempurpedic. . We bought a high priced mattress before and it was awful before 30 days so we are just over it. I'm tired of buying terrible beds and spending money.

I tried all the mattresses and ended up with Sleep Number bed years ago. It still sleeps great. However, I'm thinking about upgrading to a Sleep Number that has the raising / tilting
Get a quality latex mattress. Do research.
For a while everyone on the Houston board raved about Texas Mattress Makers. We went out to the factory showroom and got one. It's been the biggest POS mattress ever. Our guest bedroom is a hybrid memory foam / spring style and is way better than what we have.

Anything branded as "Texas" anything probably sucks. It's a nifty marketing trick to sell crappy products to the legions of people who define themselves by being and buying all things Texan. If products are good enough to stand on their own, they will.
That is what we are replacing. We bought their top of the line a while back. It has been fine, just time for a new one. No hate for TMM from us. We will consider them in this new search too, just want to see what the current favorite is.Fairview said:

Got a Casper and hated it. Returned it ASAP.
Got a Purple and love it. Doesn't hold heat at all and super comfortable.

I bought a beauty rest off a little ole elderly woman on Facebook. Husband died on it the week before so she didn't want it anymore. Picked that sucker up for $200 with the box springs and frame.
