Same, she was walking through the tents at Chilifest way back when and signed my shirt right across my chest.

I remember thinking who the F is this random hot chick autographing stuff. I later saw her sing her ass off on stage.

Sarah Evans has had a rough year, Jay Barker trying to run over her, the divorce and all. She probably needs to get away like Dusty did in Pure Country. I will volunteer my apartment for that. We can eat right and go on long walks together.

Puruplehayes was visiting me in in 2013 when he found a Dixie Chicks CD in a kitchen junk drawer. I still remember him sarcastically holding it up as if he were a parent finding drugs, "Wes, what is this??"

I didn't like Maine's misinterpretation of what free speech means. Didn't really care about what she said, but her whining about people not liking what she said and then costing them airplay and thinking free speech protects you from consequences of alienating your fan base, well, then i don't like you as a person..

I went to see them around 2006 or so, not all that long after they started being vocal in their opinions. My wife and I walked out of the concert when they started going off in the middle of it.

I don't care so much about their opinions, just keep them to yourselves when I'm paying to see you perform.

I don't want to hear what any celebrity or musician or singer thinks about politics or anything else.

Their fame and wealth exists because people want to be entertained. We put the quarter in the jukebox and you play. That's the arrangement.

Holy ***** I did some digging into this and I was off a generation. George is my 4th cousin twice removed, and something interesting came up! George Straight and Jeff Bezos are 2nd cousins once removed which makes Bezos my 5th cousin once removed!

Pretty sure I need to get some money out of this somehow.
