My wife & I have come to the sad conclusion that we need to find a new home for one of our 2 female German Shepherd dogs. This is NOT a for-sale ad; if the right home is found, we will GIVE her to you for $0.
Note I said RIGHT HOME...

Details about the dog:
Her GOOD attributes:
- Spayed. Perfectly healthy.
- House trained (mostly - it's been a while since we have left her alone inside unsupervised)
- VERY good with children.
- Barks like mad when strangers come up.
- Can trail a wounded deer (did not teach her this, just just does it naturally)
- Relatively well behaved (comes when called, sit, will go lay in her corner of the living room & get out from under foot, etc).
Don't know if this is Good or Bad:
- IF a stranger is brave enough to just walk into fence with her (or let her out of the fence), she turns into a total "lover, not a fighter". I honestly don't think she would defend the property or you, even if you wanted her to.
Her bad (why we can't keep her):
- She doesn't like other small animals. She has killed our chickens, ducks, kittens, etc. She was fine with her 1/2 sister (whom we are keeping) when we brought her home as a puppy, so I THINK she would be fine with other small dogs.
- (minor issue) If you leave her alone in the house, she LOVES to dig into the trash, dirty dishes, etc.
