Can't remember her name, but I had issues with going to class in college, because I'm better at self learning than hearing a professor talk/read slides. Was a marketing class and she had a policy that if you missed x number of days you would begin to lose letter grades for every additional day you missed. Based upon tests/work completed I earned a B (maybe an A, can't remember) in that class, but based upon the number of days I missed I got a D. My fault for not going to class enough, but that's a stupid policy.
There's an A&M geology prof on here who posts as Rockdoc.hypeiv said:
I had a bad geology teacher. He was a researcher who was pissed he was teaching a 100 level class for non geology majors and took it out on us.
Edit: now that I think about it, my sociology teacher was pretty bad. She gave us a final that had a bunch of stuff we never covered in class on it. I still got an A which is why I didn't think of it first but it was a pretty low move.

Kinda like he was preparing you for the real world?

Swim for Management (I don't remember the course number), business law. He wasn't a bad professor based on the metric of learning from him or being entertained during class. It was that his lectures had nothing to do with the test content...

PHIL 240 was probably Introduction to Logic. I took it in Fall '99, but our prof was a peach. Had an exam scheduled for the morning of November 18, but he flat out cancelled it due to Bonfire.
Hahaha hadn't thought of that dude in decades. I actually love physics but that a-hole almost ruined it all for me.91_Aggie said:
