Chick fil a needs to more openly disclose their items containing MSG. They use it a lot. (Why?) They could and should really cut down on the sodium content and replace it with flavor that's not just a salt bomb. Otherwise, yes, they get you in and out in a hurry, mostly because of well designed systems and very simple, premade food products.

I passed the one in Mansfield today about 3:30 and it had a line in both lanes onto walnut creek. Everyone I pass is always packed.

To be fair, those are made of imported parts mostly from Europe, assembled in America.

I can't tell who the snowflakes are anymore. EVERYONE is constantly *****ing or crying about something.

"Healthier"? Sure. I don't think it's popularity was caused by people thinking their fried chicken was healthy though.

Americans love fast food because it is relatively cheap, relatively fast, and usually consistently the same from visit to visit. They've never been fooled into thinking that burgers and fries and sodas and shakes and fried chicken are healthy. Not now, not 20yrs ago, not 50yrs ago.

Not true. When chicken was pushed about 50 years ago as being better for you than red meat it was implied (sorry no express written comments) that even fried was part of that.
