Aggies, I come in peace. If this post is in violation of board rules kindly take it down, but I think more than a few of you would be interested in what I have for sale.

My grandfather in law graduated A&M in 1943. He had this rolex made with a A&M face. I can't find any other Rolex watches with college logo faces, so I think this is pretty unique and special. However I think it needs to go to another Aggie who will enjoy it more than I could. Here's the link:

Thanks Redd, nice find. The person in that thread said he inherited from someone in the Class of '46, so yes it must have been a thing in that era.

OK - looked up the serial number - this is a 1981 Oyster Chronometer with a custom face. Just not all that rare - a nice stock one can be had online today for $1500. I can't imagine the A&M faceplate adds much.

In general it probably does. I'd be interested at about $500 - might go a bit higher. That's probably way below the reserve value. I still say peak value is like $1000.

That's good info, thanks. I don't know why I assumed that the watch was from the 40s just because he graduated in the 40s.
