Yes. I've waited 20+ years to make a grand entrance. And I flopped. A good queer reference used to go a long way but nowadays with them being all out and marrying and stuff, it just doesnt have the audience it used to. There's a possibility we might even have one as a president pretty soon. I guess we still have the Mexicans to fall back on. It will be a while before we see one of them in the oval office.

he threw over the national record a few times at practice. Crazy to think of what he could have done with actual coaching. It was only his dad working with him at practice. Also, I ran scout RB in practice one time. Instead of killing me he just picked me up. Only time I've said thanks after getting "tackled"

Yeah, I remember talking to him before we threw at the state meet our senior year. He told me that he hit 242' in practice. The national record was broken the year before that by a guy in Utah, he threw 234'. It's since been broken twice and is now 237'.

Not cyber-stalking but, I make a mental note of Midway folks who talk about it from time to time - especially the ones who think it's wonderful. Since I'm not Baptist, I hated my time there and couldn't wait to graduate and go to A&M.
