I was at a craft fair and it was on the ghetto side. They sold roasted corn. At the dressing station there was a huge tub of mayo with a spatula in it and some spicy seasoning. People were pasting the mayo on and sprinkling it with the seasoning. I almost threw up just watching.

Definitely yes.

But I'm seeing a trend, considering I'm from Henderson. Squeeze butter on the table in Longview, Tyler, Henderson, & Kilgore restaurants was the norm.

I never cared for it but I grew up with this being normal. I do enjoy a butter and honey burrito dipped in salsa though, also from this restaurant. I miss Longview.

It's called elote entero and yes, it's a thing. I don't know about a mexican thing, but definitely a tejano thing.
