+3 for Sony Bravia.

My father, my GF, and myself all have The Bravia line from 2006-2008 timeline. We all agree why upgrade when they are still working great?

I've got a house full of Samsung Tv's and a fridge.

Zero problems

If you have Samsung stuff from 7-10 years ago, it's still good.

They're the first that took advantage of the fact that people like to replace things within 1-3 years, so the last few model years have been absolute **** with very low-quality parts. LG is also starting to follow that model so their quality is also quickly declining.

Samsung TV from 1993 I bought was still hanging on in my Inlaws kitchen last Christmas.

Our Samsung TV is a couple of years old with zero problems. Note 8 still working fine. The fridge is an LG from 2010, still going on with only the need to defrost the icemaker once a year. Even our 11 year old Philips TV still works. Maybe we aren't as hard on our stuff as some of you.

Our tv's, washer and dryer, and fridge are all Samsung. We've had no issues with the televisions or W/D, but our fridge keeps freezing up (ice builds up behind whee the cooling fan is) and I have to defrost it every two months. We're looking to replace that with a new fridge other than Samsung...
