Are bull***** If I want to blow a bunch of money playing at $25 minimum tables I'd play at nice resorts on the strip in Vegas. Not coming back here. I don't understand how this place is so full of people.

Project starting up near there this year, and I expect many crew paychecks will be dumped into those places. I like to gamble and all, but casinos mostly prey on people who are ignorant, addicted, or both. Pretty much any industry that deals in vice is like that, really.

I'm with you. When I've been and saw the lowest table be $25 I was like uhh do these casinos know they are still located in some dumpy town in Louisiana? Try to be Vegas all you want, it ain't happening.

If you want cheaper tables you have to go to Pile of Debris. But be prepared to be swallowed by a cloud of cigarette smoke

Isle of Capris boat has $5-$10 tables. Some at Coushatya, too.

That's how you do it....stay at the resort casino, frugally gamble there, and then play the table games at Capri.

I was there not too long ago too and noticed that. I texted my friend who lives in Houston and goes pretty regularly, apparently they jack up the minimums like that on the weekends, haha. So no idea what it's like during the week.

As for why it's so full of people... Houston.

Hate to say it, but you just described almost every casino on a Friday or Saturday night these days.

The Horseshoe and Margaritaville in Shreveport are actually pretty nice. Eldorado isn't bad either.

I was in New Orleans a week ago and went to Harrahs for the first time in a few years. I was surprised at how nice it was. Mainly because of the "No Smoking ", and no smell and very clean. We didn't play any table games, so I can't recall what the minimums were.

Pit boss yelled for snother dealer to take over. New dealer straddles the girl laying prone on the ground and Deals the hand. THEN proceeds to keep dealing the whole unfinished deck.

No way was I getting up.

Took about 10 minutes to get the poor girl up.
