Lotta crap on here, from me included (mainly just bd of crowd sizes and safety).

But as someone who can really say fitness changed their life, if there's anyone here who wants to post, has questions, etc; have at it. I'd like to help, if I can.

Especially if you're feeling like you want to quit or give up. Don't.

Back squat, deadlift, bench press. That's the key to starting strength. All with a barbell

I lost 55 lbs when I finally decided to stop being an out of shape unhealthy lard ass. I won't lie it's been a lot of miserably hard work many times, but worth it, for the health benefits alone, and it's pretty nice to hit the lake or beach in the summer and not be another dad-bod. My motivation was that I had high cholesterol and elevated blood pressure, and now they are both good.

Build some muscle with lifts and weights, and let that muscle help you lose the bad weight, but you get nowhere without making some modifications to your diet. Abs are made in the kitchen or looking at the menu. It's that simple.

Haha, no clue. Never done cocaine. However, I've been known to fire off a post or two in between sets at the gym.

Having an amazing group of people I work out with and run with has literally made more of a difference than anything else fitness related. They push me to do more than I feel I could ever do and encourage me when I feel like quitting. We talk each other into stuff we would never attempt on our own.
