That burger was meh. I think everyone just likes it because HEB and whataburger got on the green chile train.

Green chiles are awesome when they are the good ones with some actual spice. Unfortunately, whataburger used ones with no flavor and for some odd reason never peeled them.

don't you say that! Hatch green chilies are delicious and that cheeseburger was quite possibly the best thing whataburger ever made. I didn't even like whataburger that much other than the occasional 2-3am patty melt when hammered, but when they had the green Chile burger, man, I would go out of my way to eat that thing sober sometimes.

Cheddar chophouse was way better. Like the above guy said, the green chiles whataburger used were meh at best

A1 thick and hearty burger, but leave off the A1,and substitute Heinz 57. You have to bring your own, as Whataburger doesn't have it, but it is greatness.
