I very clearly remember my first haircut. Old timey place, Barber wore a smartly pressed smock. My mom hadn't built it up to be anything more than what grown ups do on a regular basis. The barber teased me about all my cowlicks. I'm laughing and giggling at him. Then in a seemingly rookie move he tells me "Now settle down Earl, you don't want me to cut your ear off, do you?" All hell broke loose after that. I went from mommas Little Champion to 35lbs of get me the Fck outta here as soon as he said that.

I wouldn't want someone fired for that....maybe that's how she feeds her children? I do think it proper to ask for a written reprimand to be in her employee file and for her to pay for a stylist to even out her handiwork. The child is adorable and it's done.

I will add I was almost 3 and an aunt by marriage took me to a stylist for a professional cut...I went in with shoulder length baby curls and came out with a Pixie, the style of the day apparently and most hair was 1 inch long. I knew my Mom was going to be upset but I didn't realize it would make her cry. It also took a while to get my Dad calmed down because to upset my Mom was ass beating territory!

I don't get it...wouldn't the hair be in the kids face without it having been cut? I would think that would look equally bad or worse.

Our 8th grade bball coach told a kid if he didn't cut his finger nails he would do it for him. Next day he pulled out a pocket knife and we all stood around the FT line while he whittled away on the nails.

I would be mad if that was my kid.
