Just proves we need more background checks for teachers. We need a national teacher registry where any trips to a mental health professional are banned from teaching and removed from teaching because things like this might happen. Obviously more government involvement is the answer.

An argument can certainly be made that a second adult in the room would have been a deterrent. A good wingman is not only an enabler, but also a trusted confidant that keeps impulses in-check.
