Was asked very late in the process to read some scripture at a friend's wedding. I was not part of the wedding party, just put on a suit, went to rehearsal and wedding. I worked very hard on getting it right, reading slowly and enunciating every word, made it meaningful to me and the couple. I am still proud of that and my friend talks about that from time to time. I was the Bible dude at the reception....left a mark I suppose. My wife didn't make the wedding so I was alone holding my Bible for the whole evening. Everybody came by and talked and a few thought I was a minister. Pretty unusual evening.....

Best man twice. Both grooms were friends that I worked on Bonfire with, and both weddings were 10+ years after graduating from A&M.
