So, this is weird for sure, but fun. My little cousin, who is 8, has recently gotten WAY into (of all things) Boston and Van Halen. Very different, but he likes both. He has some "best of" CDs that he listens to over and over. For Christmas, I want to burn him a CD or maybe two (yes, he consumes music via CD like a luddite) with other classic rock songs that he might like.
I was thinking of two general categories:
Any suggestions, oh wise and always helpful GB?
In exchange, here are some pics of a lovely young lady who, at least according to a search for her name and handle, has not been posted on the GB in at least the last year: Shelby Chesnes. She works out a lot.

I was thinking of two general categories:
- A song each from 10 other bands that are pretty common to hear out in the wild... some Journey and Styx and Foreigner and stuff that are radio mainstays that he'll probably recognize. I can handle that, but if you had any suggestions on what you consider absolute standards, I'd be happy for the input.
- The second thing is where I need help, as classic rock isn't an area of expertise for me by any stretch. Anybody have suggestions for 10 or so deeper cuts that are worth exposing a young rock fan to?
