Saw a post on the zoo where some guy was projecting about how bad the 9-5 office life is so, why does your job suck?

As for the 9-5 cubicle thing, I do think it's a relic and one that will eventually fall to the wayside... I think telecommuting and working from home is only going to get more and more mainstream

I love my job. Come in when I want, work from home when I want, have nice comp, and get to work in both the legal and biz dev sectors.

8-5 cube job, but I actually get to spend quite a bit of time in the field. It's not bad. Wouldn't mind a little more pay, but it's my choice to take the pay for the work.

Mine doesn't suck, and I can think of a lot worse things to have to do.

And can't really think of any other jobs I'd like better. I imagine there are some, but I don't know about them.

People don't effectively manage their PTO during the year and then want to use it all in Dec. The last 2 years I have had to cover for these *******s and there are always deadlines for projects or urgent visits that I end up having to do.

We get a week for company closure in Dec but al work and reports still have to be done/finalized for Q4. Guess who ends up doing that and having to work during some of that week.

I hate people.

i get internal corporate spam emails all the time, I mark them as phishing making them actionable to IT.

Having to "talk" to HR because the secretaries don't like being groped. If you don't like your boobs or ass touched it should be your job to wear a sign saying so. I keep telling HR a sign is a lot cheaper than a lawsuit.

Here's why my job sucks:

Sales Director is an egomaniac
Made a grown man cry in front of 50 + at sales meeting
Said director has run off key, talented people
He has no clue how my division is run
He ran off my boss
He's rumored to be sleeping with HR
Promoted HR honey last week
About to get sued for breach of contract
Blame will fall on old boss although he tried everything not to get us sued
I'm outta here hopefully year end
