I have a couch I bought when I first graduated that is a cheap vinyl/leather material that has ripped exposing the cushion foam. The other cushions are about to rip as well. My apartment complex said there's no where to put bulky trash and obviously I don't think it's worth anything on Craigslist. I don't mind taking it somewhere to donate, but I feel bad donating something in such poor condition. What is the best course of action?

Find the West Virginia University alumni group in your area. They'll burn it the next time they win a bowl game.

I wouldn't dump it at the complex. It sounds like he already asked them so they would know it was him. If it's not in too awful condition, call your local Goodwill and donate it. They will even come get it. Otherwise, haul it to the dump if you can.

Leave it by the curb and it will magically disappear

Big dumpster behind a grocery store or strip mall.

Put it on the curb with a sign that says "Couch for sale $55"

It will be gone before the end of the lunch hour.

Just put it on Craigslist as a free couch to whoever will pick it up. You'll have it gone in 24 hours.

Was gonna suggest saving it for a celebration of some kind but this offers a higher percentage of win. If not a bowl game there will be some other reason.
