If you were my neighbor I wouldn't care about the swing being up

If you were my neighbor I would think it's ugly and want it removed.

I'd get claustrophobic having a house that big on a lot that small.

If you were my neighbor I'd help you find the HOA member houses and take a dump on their porches.

God forbid you are a good parent and you actually do happy, family friendly activities in your front yard, in view of the neighbors!!

It is ugly. That being said, I hate HOAs, and don't really care.

This. It's ugly for sure but that's pretty ridiculous

"Unattractive" is subjective and vague.

Tell them to provide a specific objective reason why it should be brought down and explain why they hate children.

That would go perfect with a pair of faded pink flamingos if you can find them at a flea market.

take the swing down but leave the chains so putting the swing up is a 30 second process when your daughter wants to use it in the future.

I love the way folks eagerly buy into a HOA community because they love the neighborhood appearance and the great home values, but then proceed to ***** about the very rules that keep it that way once they move in.

Anyway, the swing is ugly and detracts from your curb appeal, but I agree making it a formal complaint is petty. Perhaps the HOA is more concerned about holding the line against cheap plastic crap in front yards? Just put some clips on the ropes so you can easily detach the seat and throw it in your garage when not being used.......

I just talked a lady about it and she said swings aren't allowed. I asked her why my neighbors can have skeletons, witches, and ghosts in their yard and she said seasonal decorations are ok. I told her there is a ghost in the swing. She said she didn't see it. I said it's a ghost, it's invisible. I have officially stooped to their level

replace the swing with a Jacob Marley hanging from the chains. Leave up thru Xmas.
