Kind of asked my now wife to go on our first date through AIM. Hey, it worked.

And signing in with my alt name "bananaman" back in junior high and trolling people. That was fun. I miss AIM. Those sounds bring me back to 7th grade, and the excitement you'd get when your crush signed on and messaged you and you heard that sound.

Un****ing real. I did almost the same thing. Think it was Spring 04. Asked her out on AIM, got too nervous, shut my laptop and went to the Underground to buy a Hot Pocket with an outbound. This was after a pretty raunchy date party neither one of were proud of.
