not exactly, she told me once, when I later asked her about the age difference, she corrected that she said the plural of her age. I may have not heard correctly, had hearing loss since I was 23. Had to take a physical for a job that security clearance in the aerospace industry.

Life paths were quickly figured out as being misaligned so we didn't date long but it was a good but short run.

Honestly, my only concern.

I don't have kids, but the younger daughter of my ex-GF pretty much adopted me and identifies me as her father (he bio-dad isn't involved in his kids lives, he sees them maybe 4 days out of the year).

There is almost a decade in age between them, but I'm sure if they ever meet, it will be awkward.

I was 28 and my wife was 18 when we met. I admit it was kind of weird but that was 17 years ago and it's all good now.

I'm definitely robbing the cradle. I never wanted to either. I prefer to stay single and date older women (70's - 80's), but here I am at 41 and I'm about to marry a 24-year-old girl. I'm basically old enough to be her dad.

To answer the obvious questions that will come; I was drunk one day and messing around on a social media app when I met her. She asked me to promise her I would never leave her, and I was too drunk to make a good decision about that. I am a man of my word, so now I'm stuck being married to her until I die or she leaves me for a younger man. I hope she does leave me 'cause being married really sucks.

Not a noble thing to do for sure, but it can be a hell of an education for young man. When I was 18-19, I saw one woman who was 26 and another who was 32 and in the middle of a divorce. I, um, "learned" a lot.
