Nope, 15, but I paid 20 bucks for a fake ID that said I was 18. Things were fairly loose back then.

I had my first and last around 1984. I was 14 and grew out of it quickly. By the time I was 15 I enjoyed taking my time. Letting a 24 pack last all day.

Pure guess here, but it likely did not start until aluminum cans. Seems like the old steel cans would have been a pain.

I know we were shot gunning in the mid to late 80's

Pretty much the same for me. I learned I could throw it up just as fast as I drank it, which was a waste of money.
