Go to a bar called Doublewide. They have a drink called a YooHoo Yehaw. It is what that are known for. It is closer to Downtown Dallas at the end of of Deep Ellum so it might be a little bit of a hike for you. Lots of dive bars down there.

Nice. I grew up working for the Acton family in the early 80's. There's an elementary school named after grandpa Acton (Charles D.). They owned Heritage Banc S&L, Duncanville National Bank, Oak Tree Land Development, etc. They got burned down when the S&L crisis hit, but I was long gone by then.
