A new poem for an old tradition

For all the Ags who have gone before me,
who gave all they had for all I now enjoy-
Our spirit I faithfully carry forward,
and try to leave a better world behind.
Softly call the Muster, Ags, and raise your candle light,
Gone but not forgotten, let 'em hear that old farmers fight!
Today, my voice is yours, as I call "HERE",
I stand for fallen heroes, for those I hold most dear.

- Joey Dean '05

I hope that you all enjoy Muster with some fellow Ags, and remember all that was given so that we could (for our country, our families, and our school).

I thought that said Muster Porn and was going to chastise you.

I always liked this WWI poem as it relates to those who have gone before us.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place: and in the sky
The larks still bravely singing fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the dead: Short days ago,
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved: and now we lie
In Flanders fields!

Take up our quarrel with the foe
To you, from failing hands, we throw
The torch: be yours to hold it high
If ye break faith with us who die,
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields
