Wouldn't know.....we kept them....lol. In a drawer. Until about 10 years later when they dissolved into a glue like substance.

My wife felt very justified in having them removed after seeing that.

Why did she have them taken out?

Well.....thats a story in itself.......short version......."the cat". LOL....I'm sure that makes no sense so.......


It was right during the mid 90s time when the big implant scare was going on. People had all sorts of panic stricken stories of illnesses and immune system issues attributed to them and the media painted a scary picture.

So she had been sick for a couple of years - chronic cough, sneezing, fatigue, never could get well, seemed like she could not kick colds, lots of immune system related issues it appeared.

With all of that media hype going on, despite any evidence that there was a problem she decided it was the implants and they must have leaked and that it was silicon toxicity related.

So she had them taken out. But the illness continued for 6 months or so after. then the cat died and ALL of her symptoms went away. Almost immediately.

I BLAME THE CAT to this day - stupid cat.

We had cats before and she never had a problem so we did not ever think it was related to the cat, but that particular cat was fluffier and shed more...duh. Grrrrrrrr.
