Why would you tip a dry cleaner? Who else do you tip? Your bank teller? Your sales associate? Your bagger?

I wonder this too, we have valet cleaning at my place, I did it monthly.

Whenever I bring my suits in for dry cleaning there's usually a joint, cash, some coke, half a pack of cigs, etc. still in various pockets, so they just keep that in lieu of a tip.

Valet cleaning I can maybe understand. Dry cleaners? No. Tipping in general is a stupid concept.

I also leave a Magnum condom just to let them know what's up.

Usually it's just the wrapper, which isn't a very good tip.

Why tip someone for a job I'm capable of doing myself? I can deliver food, I can drive a taxi, I can and do cut my own hair. I did, however, tip my urologist. Because I am unable to pulverize my own kidney stones.

Drycleaners don't bring me my drinks while I sit in my car. So no tip.

I tip them nothhing as I drive thru and they place into my car. It is called a business and I have paid for the service.

There are two that blow my mind...

1. pizza joint I call a pickup order into..park, walk thru the restaurant to the back, wait, pay...I always struggle to justify to pay a tip...I have done all the he work.

2. Sonic..they have a drive thru...no tip.

3. The tip jar at the local pei wei for the counter girl taking orders...nope.

When I go to a sit down restaurant and good service is given I tip 20+%
