Etsy is a lot more than bored housewives selling crafts. There are a lot of nice wood-based items that you can tell were done by some skilled craftsmen. I bought a reclaimed wood barn beam that someone finished and use it as a fireplace mantel. I also bought some nice brackets from a blacksmith on Etsy to hang the mantel.

I have had an etsy shop since 2013. I list a lot of my humidors/cutting boards/bowls/cigar trays and a few larger items like a pecan natural edge slab desk I made on it. It is pretty straightforward and simple. A minor fee for listing then a small % on each sale. It got better last year for me when they actually made better shipping profiles based on where the customer was and also added sales tax for in-state sales. Before then I would have to add tax on my end and also just list a blanket shipping price, regardless if it got sent across town or across the country. Was a pain in the butt several times. I get a lot of custom orders for humidors too which is nice.

Discogs has a very good shipping policy. Straight out you outline time, date, and postal service.

I can't really remember but don't you charge for time and labor, cost of materials, shipping, and profit gained.

My coworker does. She said she makes about $200 every 2 weeks selling cosplay costume stuff. She leads a rich after office hours life.

What the hell does this mean? Is this like selling used panties to nerds?
No, she sells costumes.

This. Not a difficult concept. She makes costumes.
