That dude in Band of Brothers was a real life dude. He tried to kill himself, but the bullet severed both optic nerves and didn't kill him. So he lived for decades longer, blind and alone, in a home somewhere until he starved to death. Nobody deserves that. Not even David Schwimmer.

JR from Dallas. He was a real piece of work. This is s hard one. Frank Burns could be a runner up. Oh......, one sniveling character I despised was Dr Smith(?) from "Lost in Space".
