So when I was a cadet about 20 years ago, we used to have a dessert on occasion that was sorta like Boston cream pie, but it didn't have any chocolate on top. I think it it had frosting instead. For anybody who worked there, "what the hell was that?" It was damn good. I want it again.

It was not cream pie. There was no porn involved.

I highly doubt that this was at Duncan and didn't involve some sort of porn...

Is that the one that Id see people use as cement to stick bowls, plates, and cups underneath the table so they'd stick for months?

No freaking way. We ate those mofos. They were too damn good to waste smashing underneath tables.

That was the whipped cream on the jello.

Plain chocolate pudding: nice and fresh
Pudding with whipped cream: fresh enough
Pudding with whipped cream and crushed peanuts: dicey
Pudding with whipped cream, crushed peanuts and a cherry: no freaking way

The weird purple crap at the salad bar worked pretty good too.

Are you talking about that chocolate pie with a white spackle-like substance on top? The chocolate pie filling was sometimes still partially frozen. I would scrape the sparkle off... it was great once you took that crap off.

No... imagine this:

Without the chocolate on top. Instead I think it had whip cream and strawberry on top or something. The layer in the middle was not lemon flavored, but maybe banana pudding, custard, or something like that. It was not white frosting. That's for sure.
