I moved to Tyler 6 years ago and still really enjoy it here. If you're young without family then live in the azalea district. If you have a family then look around Old Jacksonville hwy.

It was a great house. And we had an extra bedroom but alas I'm not there any more

I would suggest an apartment or house. They are usually the best places to live. Stay away from vehicles and cardboard boxes

It's a two hour drive between these two, I wouldn't classify anything as the "Waco/Tyler area"

Just live in Dallas & commute to Tyler or Waco. Either one is only about an hour drive or so.
