I've switched to guessing male names. So, yes.

I named my daughter Caroline Rose.

As for association, you just kind of have to ignore it. I have a facebook friend named Caroline that is not my favorite, but our paths don't cross. Our last name starts with a B so I ruled out all B names and I wanted a longer first name since our last name is short. I wanted her to have a name that is classic and distiguished and easy to spell.
