You know, speaking of all this 90s britpop, I think Radiohead's first album always get an u fair shake, because folks always compare it to later albums rather than their contemporaries at the time. Compared to Blur or the Stone Roses, or even Oasis, they were just as good if not better than any of them (certainly Oasis).

I had that Radiohead album (because of Creep). I will give you that it was mostly better than Oasis, but it pales in comparison to Stone Roses. They were torch bearers, and they did it the best. From 1989

He played at Hanks in Mckinney a couple weeks back and he's awesome live. I listen to his stuff nonstop, especially his latest record.

Talked to him for 15 minutes after the show too. Such a nice humble guy. Asked him how his kid was doing and he couldn't stop talking about him. Definitely seeing him again when he's up here.

That portishead live in NYC album is one of my favorite albums of all time.
