Four considerations for you:

I'm equipping a family focused makerspace in college station (mentorsandmakers.com). We may be interested in the lot...provide pictures and we'll talk
I have a friend within driving distance of Redding. He is willing to drive over to take pictures. Unfortunately (for me), he is also interested in the lot.
If you want an additional bidder in the mix, you should ask the http://houstonmakerspace.com/ if they are interested.
I've got an estimate from a moving company that will get the stuff here for under $1000/ton. So, how much weight are we really talking here?

I don't think they show "touching segments" on tv. Those are likely saved for when the cameras are off.
