Another Texagger's dog had to be put to sleep today.

Not sure how exactly how old he was, but he watched the 2012 Alabama game with me as a pup and jumped and ran from me after certain plays.

I put a baby gate on my office a few months ago to keep dogs and cats out, as the one cat kept spraying in the office, and the dogs would then try to cover his smell with theirs. You get the idea.

Yesterday, my daughter and I were in the office doing homework when Rocket Beagle decided that he simply couldn't handle the separation anxiety anymore, backed up, and took a flying leap over the baby gate. While we sat in awe, he proceeded to jump on top of my chair, then onto my desk, to acquire the long-forgotten potato chip that he had been smelling, probably for days and at a great distance. He then asked for an extreme closeup.

Logan still has PTSD from when we moved, so when my wife started wrapping presents in the room we haven't fully unboxed yet, he got flashbacks.
