Don used the place to store furniture and tables for The Dixie Chicken before opening Shadow Canyon.

Shadow Canyon opened in 94 during the time I went back to A&M for grad school in 92. Was a boarded up porn theater from the Fall of 84 until 89, when I finished my undergrad. Saw BR549 there in the mid 90s. The Ah Nam Tea House was next door. Saw Robert Earl Keen there. Fun times.

Best concert I saw there was a free "secret" Pat Green concert (summer of 98 or 99?) during the SC days. Pat established at the beginning of the show that it was free and therefore he was allowed to drink as much as he wanted and took full advantage of it. By the end he was hurling empty bottles into the crowd and could barely stand, good times.
