I got splashed with some hot metal that burned through my jeans, then rolled down my leg into my boot and settled on my foot a couple days ago. It didn't hurt really until today, it started to swell and feels tender. Normal or maybe infected?

Scrubbing it clean is going to hurt.

Yes, it looks a little infected.
1. Scrub clean with a clean washcloth, antibacterial soap, and water.
2. Let it air out as much as possible.
3. Apply Neosporin or other antibacterial ointment and wrap in gauze (if possible) if you need to put shoes on.
4. ...
5. Profit and have a non-infected foot.
Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor, but I've personally had 2nd and 3rd degree burns. What I wrote above is basically what I had to do, except I had a Rx-only ointment and a regimen of oral antibiotics to go along with it. Mine looked waaaaaaaay worse than yours.

Clorox bleach killed my athletes foot. Try that. Burns initially

Damn right it's going to. Worst pain I've ever sat through was having infected flesh scraped away from a 3rd degree burn without any sort of pain killer.

And I still don't have feeling in parts of my foot. Maybe the areas that were only 2nd degree burns were what hurt so ****ing bad. I was doing my best not to look at it when they were doing it, so I couldn't tell you exactly which part of my foot they were going to town on at a given instant. What's your point?

I cleaned it with disinfectant and put some ointment on it last night and again this morning and put some gauze and a bandage on it. It's doing much better.
