I'll seriously be surprised if it's anything other than Perry. I'm not opposed to renaming the flagroom. And while I don't like Perry, I don't hate him as much as a lot of people. But ****ing Christ, how tone deaf are the Regents. "Hmmmm, everyone thinks we're here because we're Perry's lapdogs. I know! let's rename the Academic Building. And to prove that it's our doing and not the Governor's will name it after him. He's way too smart and humble and secure and down to earth to name that after himself. That's something he would never do!"

3 months later:

"Wow that backfired! Now everyone still thinks we're sycophants and suckups. How can we prove that this isn't the case? .... guys I just had a great idea"

Signed the petition to reverse the decision. That is one of the stupidest things I have seen. Putting the beveled block ATM is redundant as it already says Texas A&M on it. It also looks cheap. All Sharp sees is dollar signs. Do these people have nothing better to do than change something that has no business being changed.
