Best advice given so far. Doesn't stop with child rearing either. It also helps with dismissing the liberal pansies on your Facebook feed that you really should block, but can't because the dark evil part of you that delights in the dismay of your inferiors is too powerful.

Are you sure he doesn't have an ear infection or fluid in his ears. Had the Dr. look at the ears, and they were full of fluid, and no fever.
Both my kids had tubes when they were young, and one of the two grandchildren already does.

Leave the diaper to the wife after the chili...
Hylands teething tablets worked for my four. Put a couple in there and they calm down.
