He absolutely did. Very gracious man. I was trying to glean as much info from him as possible. We talked a lot about just general climbing, but we did delve into the Himalaya stories. Spending 4 days around him was awesome.

haha thanks. No, closed adoption, so no real info at all. I could always register with the Texas Adoption Registry and see if any family members have also registered, but honestly I just don't care lol. I have a wonderful family.

How did the VIP event go?


She is so awesome. Her autograph line moves so slow because she talks to everyone. Super nice and chill. Also hilarious. I would post my autograph but it has profanity in it. (She signed my friends "What would Gillian do?" mug with "Eat me"). Panel was good. Everyone getting annoyed with audience questions, especially Gillian, so the sass was real. It was same stuff they've been asked over and over again.

Overall great. And she smells fantastic LOL
