If you're drinking low-end Laphroaig, I'd recommend spending five more dollars and getting the Quarter Cask. It's a little smoother than the 10. Oh, and avoid the Select at all costs. It's terrible.

The original was actually more expensive than the quarter at my specs. I'll try the quarter or the 15 after I finish this one.

If you like sherry cask Scotches plus peat, keep an eye out for this. It pops up occasionally for ~$80 and is a really interesting pour.

somebody say Auchentoshan?

the 12 year is the only brand of scotch that I've ever bought more than once, with the exception of cheap Johnny Walkers.

It's also my go-to gift for anybody I know likes Scotch, I've probably gifted upwards of 2 dozen bottles over the years.
